Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

BrandFace Retail LLP ("PoshRobe", "we", "us", "our"), registered in Calicut, Kerala, India, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use poshrobe.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, place an order, or contact us — including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, body measurements, and payment details. We also automatically collect usage data such as pages visited, browser type, device information, and IP address through cookies and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: process, fulfil, and deliver your rental orders; communicate with you about your bookings, alterations, and returns; send you relevant offers, new arrivals, and style updates (only if you have opted in); improve our website, product catalogue, and customer service; comply with applicable legal and tax obligations; and detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.

3. Measurements & Personal Data

Body measurements you provide are used solely for the purpose of altering the rented garment to fit you. This data is stored securely and is not shared with any third party beyond our in-house alteration team.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers we need to run our business: payment processors (PayU), delivery and pickup partners, messaging platforms (such as WhatsApp), and the advertising platforms described in section 5. Each may use your data only for the service it provides to us.

5. Advertising on Google and Meta

We advertise on Google (Search, YouTube, Maps) and on Meta (Instagram, Facebook). To make those ads more relevant, and to measure whether they work, we may share your phone number and email address with Google and Meta in hashed form. Hashing turns your number into a scrambled code before it leaves our systems, so the platform never receives the number itself. The platform compares that code with its own users. If there is a match, it may:

  • count that an ad led to your store visit or booking (measurement);
  • show you PoshRobe ads, for example about an upcoming fitting or a new collection, or stop showing them once your event has passed or you have already booked; or
  • help us reach people with similar interests. The platform does this itself, and we never receive anyone’s identity from it.

Google and Meta do not receive your name, address, measurements, order details or payment information from us. We never upload anyone who has asked us to stop marketing to them.

To opt out: reply STOP on our WhatsApp, tell any store team member, or email contact@poshrobe.com. We will remove you from these lists at the next nightly update. You can also control ad personalisation in your Google account (My Ad Center) and in Meta’s ad preferences.

6. Google user data and Google APIs

The PoshRobe app (this website, poshrobe.com) uses Google sign-in and Google APIs. This section explains exactly what Google user data we access, why, and how you can remove it.

What we access, and why

  • “Continue with Google” for customers (scopes: openid, email, profile). If you choose to sign in with Google instead of a phone OTP, Google shares your Google account ID, name, email address, whether the email is verified, and your profile photo link. We use them only to create or find your PoshRobe account, sign you in, show your name on the site, personalise what we show you on the site (you can change it at any time), and contact you about your bookings. Google sign-in is optional: you can always sign in with your phone number and a one-time code instead.
  • Staff sign-in (scopes: openid, email, profile). PoshRobe team members sign in to our internal admin with their company Google account, followed by a one-time code. Their email address is used only to confirm they are an authorised member of staff.
  • Google Ads API and Data Manager API (scopes: adwords, datamanager). These are used only by authorised PoshRobe staff, and only for PoshRobe’s own Google Ads accounts. We never access anyone else’s Google Ads account. We use them to read our own campaign performance and account balance, to report bookings and store visits that came from our ads (conversion measurement), and to keep our own customer lists up to date for advertising, as described in section 5. Phone numbers and email addresses are converted to SHA-256 hashes on our servers before they are sent to Google; we never send names, addresses, measurements, order details or payment information. People who have opted out of marketing, test records and our own staff are never uploaded, and anyone who opts out is removed at the next nightly update.

What we never do

  • We do not sell Google user data, or any personal data, to anyone.
  • We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than the ones listed above, and never to decide credit-worthiness or for lending.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to others, except as needed to provide these features or to comply with the law.
  • Our staff do not read Google user data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security or to investigate abuse, or the law requires it.

Storage and security. All data travels between your browser, our servers and Google over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. The credentials we use for the Google Ads and Data Manager APIs are kept only on our servers, never in your browser or in our source code. Access to customer data and to our advertising accounts is limited to authorised PoshRobe staff.

Retention and deletion. We keep the profile details Google shares with us for as long as your PoshRobe account is active. To delete your account and the Google data linked to it, email contact@poshrobe.com from the address on your account; we will complete the request within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law (such as tax invoices). You can also remove PoshRobe’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing access stops Google sign-in for PoshRobe; it does not by itself delete your PoshRobe account.

Limited Use. PoshRobe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Questions about Google user data: contact@poshrobe.com.

7. Payment Security

All payment transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. PoshRobe does not store credit/debit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Card data is handled entirely by our gateway partners.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience, maintain your session, remember preferences, and understand how our site is used. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the website.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing also removes you from the advertising lists described in section 5. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

11. Children's Privacy

PoshRobe services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page with the effective date. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
